I went to bear lake in Utah and it was a blast! I have been in Utah almost two weeks and already managed to get hurt.. I was so excited to get in the water and wakeboard cause it has been a couple weeks since i have been.. The bad news is I caught an edge and fell face first and the board came up and hit my face. I am not going to lie it was painful but the first thing I asked the group I was with was " Are my teeth still there?" And they were.. I noticed when I wipped my face there was a large amount of blood on my arm coming from my face. I thought I got a bloody nose or something..but no I cut the upper part of my lip.. I got in the boat and was a little shocked to see my face cut.. I was way worried I was losing my teeth.. but the cut was pretty funny..I thought I looked like a European painter. So the family I was with took me to the Clinic and the doctor there stitched me up.. He also told me no making out until I get healed.. I started laughing cause all I could think is I have a fat lip and a greasy cut.. gross.. But that was my second week in Utah ..

Moving to Utah

Yes it's true, I am finally leaving Missouri and heading to Utah. I have wanted to do it for the last two years and with the salon flooding I feel like its the perfect time to leave. I am getting it all figured out right now and although I have like no friends out there I am very excited! Being here in Missouri was good but I am ready for a change and I already know I like Utah enough to want to be there.. I am pretty sure I am heading out in two weeks!

I was way excited when I got to go out and go to a couple concerts recently.. Ok the first one was Yanni..lol I thought it was pretty good.. Sometimes a little weird but that's life.. The next one we went to was The Mormon Tabernacle Choir which was really good.. I tried really hard not to join in when they were singing but no suprise that my mom was right there with me singing too..lol We had a great time..

So tonight Chelsey and Brett and Josh and I all went to the Royals Game and it was the perfect night for the game.. We had so much fun together even though the Royals lost to the White Soxs.. But Friday Night means Fireworks and I was so excited.. The boys tried to convince us to beat the crowd and leave early.. I wasn't gonna let that happen. Like always I won and we watched the Fireworks from our seats and it was just how I wanted to night to end..

What a day at Work

So today being saturday is always a busy day in the Salon.. Well I dont even know how this happened to me or how I got brought into this Drama but here it goes...

About two weeks ago I did a Pedicure on a couple who just had gotten back from there Honeymoon.. I did the Husband and my co-worker did the Wife.. They seemed like the happy couple, little did I know that they had some issues. So Before my first client came in I recieve a phone call at the salon from the Wife .. She asked me if I called her husband on Friday? I was like no does he have an appoinment maybe it was a reminder call.. and all she kept saying was he told me that you called him.. Finally it clicked, she thought I was hitting on her Husband.. All I could say was listen I am not like that I have never contacted your husband and she kept acussing me of it.. I have never felt so sick in my life! I was sweating and my stomach hurt because I don't know how I could have gotten in the middle of all of this.. Me out of all people.. I didn't even realize what was happening... But that wasn't the end of it.. After I hung up the phone the wife called back three times and I just got so freaked out by it.. Cause she seems a little crazy.. But I was so glad to be done at work because I was in a zone the rest of the day thinking to myself what I should have said different.. I should have just said I was Mormon and I don't go for men that are over ten years older than me and have feet like your husbands.. but I was caught up in the moment of feeling sick..

Utah

So for the past week I have been in Utah visiting my sister and some good friends. Oh how nice it was to get away from the small town in Missouri. Chelsey and me have had the best time just being around eachother. She has showed me the REAL college life. I even went to my very first class where we learned about Russia. Yeah it was not for me thats for sure. I have also got to see my favorite married couple , Amy and Jodi! Gosh I just felt right at home again.. I think we all get nervous to see eachother just cause we go months without seeing one another but it always picks right back up.. Me and chels even went down to there new place in Spanish Fork to help them paint.. Me and Chelsey were laughing as we were trying to show off our skills in the painting department. It has been the best trip. I am going to be a little sad leaving because it has been the break I needed just to relax. I loved every minute of it

Christmas at the Evans was so exciting. It started off with Chelsey and Zack coming in from Utah and kept getting better with my baby Niece Daylynn and Aaron and Linds and Josh all coming in from San Diego.. We have done nothing but laugh and Joke around this whole time.. It has been rough cause I had to go to work to a full-booked day while they relaxed and did nothing all day I didn't miss anything though.. But I love my family and the Holidays and I wish they could all just move in and stay in good ol' Missouri...

Beauty First Christmas Party/ My going away Party

So just an little up-date, after working at beauty first for sometime now I decided to go to a new place called Bellleza. It is an Aveda Spa and Salon. I have been keeping pretty busy. I even did a mani on a man and he loved it.. I am really happy where I am working there because the people make work so fun. Learing the Aveda Color line is really different.. But I am catching on and I feel like it will be a good reference for my future.. But I love what I do and I couldn't be happier...

But Beauty first gave me a going away party/ Christmas Party.. I was really sad to leave all the girls there they were like family to me but I learned alot from all of them and I jumped on the oppertunity to work at Belleza. But I feel like I made the right decision for me.

David Cook

So this past week I went down to the Plaza and watched David Cook preform and light the plaza. It was so cool... But funny enough I didn't take any pictures of David Cook because there were tons of people there so it got a little out of hand. But it was cool to listen to him sing, and he is really good live.

Bowling

So this weekend me and some friends went bowling and I was so excited beacause I broke 100.. 103 to be exact.. I was beating my everyone on my team and they were both guys and I was complaining that I needed bummpers.. But I think it was a one time thing cause the next game I wasn't so lucky.. But I still had my moment of glory!

So turning 21 wasn't all I thought it was going to be! I had high hopes that it would be the best day.. But after getting yelled at for missing an exit and dumb girl drama I got over it really fast and my special day was not turning out the way I wanted it to. But my night started off with all my friends going to the Olive Graden. But it gets better the waitor forgot about my food so everyone was done when I got to eat but she ended up giving me a free meal and free dessert....It ended with an Episode of my favorite show The office.. How does it get any better than that. We can't ever get a decent picture...
